Eastwood Railway Station
Eastwood Railway Station was conceptually designed by Mr Garth Davies, Architect. It is a beautifully conceived sculptural design, which is predominantly a low-pitched, sharp edged, parabolic glazed roof. The glazed roof when viewed from the two entrances is impressive without being monumental, and defines the station clearly within the streetscape. Caldis Cook Group undertook the design and development, and documented the concept to tender stage. The architectural challenge was in detailing this three-dimensional double curved roof.
