Central Station

The Rail Heritage Centre (RHC) alterations include a new office fitout, bookshop and other heritage operations. The design by Caldis Cook Group, undertaken as a fast track process, enabled the facility to open on 4th August, 2006 to coincide with the 100th anniversary of Central Station. Much of the former grandeur of this elegant Edwardian space has been restored within the limitations of the 1930’s alteration, which had previously completely infilled the original Gallery around the perimeter walls.
